Tours generally take around 25 minutes and we will walk you through the cottages, the chapel, reception hall, and bridal suite as well as answer any questions you have! Bring your parents, your planner, your kids — anyone is welcome!
Good to Know First
We're a small, family-run venue with a wedding almost every weekend, so tours work a little differently than at a big venue. Three things worth knowing before you look at the calendar:
We are generally hosting weddings every weekend. For the tour times open below, we would not have a wedding going on so we are able to show you the whole venue!
Normally, we do tours on Tuesdays and open times later into the evening to accommodate work schedules.
We release tour times roughly two weeks ahead as we have to schedule around other events and see what our calendar looks like.
So if you only see a handful of times — or nothing past the next couple of weeks — that's normal, not a glitch. New times drop every week; check back about two weeks before you'd like to visit.
On select weekends, we hold a small number of group tour times for couples who truly can't come during the week — usually 9:00am before our wedding party arrives.
For these tours, we can show you The Chapel, Reception Hall, and Bridal Suite but are generally not able to show you inside the cottages. Weekend times are available about two weeks out, once our wedding party's timeline is finalized for that day.

Tour FAQ
Nope — that's us, not you! We open tour times about two weeks out and put most of them on one weekday (usually Tuesday) as we generally are hosting weddings Thursday – Sunday. If you're unable to make any times we have available, please text us and we'll do our best to accommodate your schedule!
We are generally hosting weddings every Saturday and Sunday so we're very limited those days. If you're able to tour during the week, that is the best option as we're able to show you the whole venue.
If you are coming in from out of town and only able to come on the weekend, we have a group tour option on certain weekends before our wedding party arrives that day. Please contact us for those available dates.
We only open up tour times on the above calendar when we do not have weddings going on so we're able to give you the best tour experience! On these days, we can show you all our different spaces and take our time answering any questions you have.
Absolutely — bring whoever's helping you decide. Kids and toddlers are welcome!
If you've already downloaded our pricing, you should have the link to our Wedding Brochure in your text messages. If not, you can download by going to our pricing page.
Yes! If you're unable to make it onsite, you can book a tour on our normal tour calendar and put Facetime Tour in the notes.
Please Note: You'll still receive some automated texts as if it's in-person but we will know to Facetime you!
We'd love for you to see it, but please don't drop in — we're a private property and there's usually a wedding underway. Book a quick weekday time (or a FaceTime tour) instead. If you're already in the area, the Gruene Historic District is a mile down the road and worth the trip on its own.
Text us at (830) 214-1884. If you're early, someone can often meet you sooner. If you're running late, let us know as soon as you can — tours run back-to-back on tour days, so we may need to shorten yours or find another time.
Park in the front lot next to the #1 Farmhouse cottage — you'll get a text the morning of your tour with the details — and one of us will meet you up there.
Use the link in your confirmation email, or just text us. We hold a limited number of tour slots, so if you can give us at least five days' notice we can offer the time to another couple. Thank you!
